This was called "Involuntary Manslaughter" by the courts in Oakland. There doesn't appear to be anything involuntary nor close to manslaughter in this video. This was murder. State sanctioned murder. Outside of the murder, there was further injustice in that they reduced the charge to involuntary manslaughter after the police officer decided to fight the murder charge. He didn't plead down to it, it was given to him. I'm surprised more people didn't join the streets to protest. We spend a lot of time protesting Arizona's immigration law and Fox News' foolishness, but truly Oakland deserves to be boycotted for the cruelty of this injustice. Rest in peace, Oscar Grant.
